Is Shorts Studio free?
Yes. The Basic plan is free forever and comes with credits every month. Its Standard mode uses free stock footage, free AI pictures and free voices. Paid plans add AI video, the AI editor and more credits.
What are credits?
Credits pay for the AI work in your videos. Every job shows what it costs in credits before it starts, so you're never surprised. Plan credits refill monthly; credits from top-up packs never expire.
Can I use the videos on YouTube, TikTok and Instagram?
Yes. The videos you make are yours to post. YouTube asks creators to mark realistic AI content as altered or synthetic, so please do that when it applies.
Can it make videos of real people or celebrities?
No. People in AI pictures and clips are always invented, which protects real people from deepfakes. You can clone your own voice, and stock footage of real places and people is used as filmed.
How long can a video be?
From a 30-second Short up to 60 minutes. Past 3 minutes it's made as a normal long-form video.
Can I cancel or get a refund?
You can cancel any time in Manage billing and keep your plan until the end of the period you paid for. All purchases are final and can't be refunded.
Who can use it?
Anyone aged 18 or over. You'll need an email address to create an account.
